Infants their immune system

Babies don’t have fully formed immune systems, they are lot of chance they might severely affected by the virus. While kids of all ages are susceptible, young children might be more vulnerable.

One theory is that children have better immune responses than adults, which helps them fight against the coronavirus. Children’s immune systems are not fully functional until in their development. As a result , they have a considerably stronger and more robust immune response to pathogens then adults”,explains Dr.Rondello.

Immunological Cross-Protection

According to Dr.Rondello, a number of different viruses could give young children the common cold , children used to get cold a lot ,so they’re already being exposed to more viruses , less intense to coronaviruses . Children could have potentially built immunity to them,”calls this immunological cross protection”.

Kids could have less exposure to virus, their direct contact is very less compared to adults.
