After travelling 4 hours of drive to Red hills lake , kids need to take shower after playing in Red hills lake water and they need to take some rest along with good food .
We searched for more convenient place to stay and to enjoy our trip by reducing travelling time as much as possible.
We booked Courtyard by Marriott at Lufkin city which is nearby to restaurant and center of place for our round trip.
In between we planned to see sunset at Sam Rayburn Reservoir which is one hour drive from Courtyard by Marriott.
Since we planned for round trip ,our next day plan to visit Atkinson candy company at Lufkin and travelling to RatCliff Lake. Courtyard is the center of the place for our next day trip.

Coffee – The hotel we stayed have own coffee maker along with strong 2 coffee powder pocket and 2 decaffeinated powder pockets.

For Single Bedroom ,they provided 2 television, 2 queen cot, working table, beautiful seating area, the room decorated with colorful wall painting and contemporary light lamps along with wall art.

Breakfast – Since it is covid time, breakfast are pre- wrapped and ready to eat without touching by everyone.They gave variety of choice like bread, chocolate, banana, blueberry muffin, bangels, kelloggs , Oats, butter , jam, jelly, fruit juice box, milk box, fruits like banana , orange, apple.

For this road trip ,this is best city to stay with nearby walmart, Starbucks , Panda Express ,Taco Bell and many local restaurants are nearby to Marriott at Lufkin.

In just 11 minutes distance , there is most famous Atkinson candy company is located . If you are travelling with kids ,then this Atkinson Candy company is must see place in Lufkin, Texas.
Overlook Park at Sam Rayburn Reservoir is about 1 hour from this Courtyard by Marriott.
