“Lockdown” , the one word occupied the whole world to stay safe from COVID-19. Schools are closed, transportation are grounded, public spaces are closed ,the world economy is in shock!!. We are facing the sudden strange time global life . Health authorities are advising that social distancing and self isolation are important factors to flatten the curve.
By going out you are part of problem, Stay home. By staying home , you have plenty of time to reconnect with what’s important inside you home.Though this time is not happy but manageable to disconnect and reconnect with what’s important right now.
Why Self care Routine during Isolation,
Self care is not selfish .It is important to prepare you mentally,emotionally available for your family and for your small children.Parenting a young children is stressful at times. It is must to follow self care routine during this covid-19 outbreak. The unknown facts ,what will come next make any parent to worry about the unpredictable situation. Taking care of yourself make you feel calmer and easily available for you children and to meet their needs.
Accept that the situation is hard,
Things are looking scary . Basic structure of human life changed in a month its not only you ,the entire globe is going through the same phase.We are separated for good reason .One day this days will behind us because of what we are doing now. So accept this time is hard we all are separated together no one is alone.

Wear your gym cloth and utilize this time to do your at home workout. Aerobics ,dance , yoga do any form of exercise which you like for 30 to 45 min everyday .This will keep your figure fit and boost your mind while following social distance in home.
You need to get some sweat to increase your body immune system.For home workout ,you don’t need to buy expensive equipment just go with endless exercise video online or yoga or dance or zumba .Don’t forgot to put one towel or yoga mat for your children near you because they all need to utilize there energy and smile to boost you up. Keep moving on, daily mantra to reduce stress level or to get good nighttime sleep .
Stay in Touch
Loneliness is unavoidable while staying away from human contacts.
Technology give us numerous way to connect with our loved one.Video chat with your grandparents with you children , make virtual dinner time with family members.Reconnect with your old friends or old uncle family, call or message the list of friends you forgot for years .
Bring out the list
Most of us used to say ” when i have time i will do these”,whatever it might be reading list of books, learning craft,that canvas hiding in closet for you painting, brand new sewing machine which is waiting for your time , preparing for 5k run , list of movie just take out all the unfinished list from your mind .Start explore /analyze how you can finish it in this isolation time.
Give Yourself Beauty Treatment
Not going out of the front door, plenty of time to relax ,take that long shower with your favourite music on or dip into bathtub with your favourite essential oil and epsom salt.
Pamper you skin and hair with homemade hair and face pack or simply give hot oil massage to your hair and do home facial to your face.Do at home manicure or pedicure , kids love to take pedicure . Do along with your kids they will enjoy the bath time with essential oil.
Give Rest and Spread Smile
Giving enough sleep is the easy way to “boost your immune system“.Rest your body by taking nap in the afternoon or going to sleep early in night.
Positive approach to this situation make you strong and happy . Move away from negative message don’t engage with it .Spread funny jokes, share happy thought one another to stay sane.
Take A Break
How many tabs are open in your brain ? Use this time to Close all the tabs . Like old saying “Simply do Nothing“.
