What you wear in a day makes what you feel in a day.

Dressing is essential part of every women. Indian women have strong root of clothing style with ev wide spread of tradition. Both indian tradition and western traditional dresses are part of every indian women. But the introduction of one cloth occupied the most indian women!! .That is Nightie or night gown or long maxi dress at home .

As the name described nightie meant to wear for night time or before bedtime. Though nightie is introduced from western culture in 80’s and early 90’s to indian culture , it slowly occupied indian women as everyday dress. The loose fitting and single piece garment became so popular and women prefer to wear nightie all the day long.

You can see most of 80’s and 90’s kids and now as women prefer to wear nightie and their mother’s and grand mother followed their tradition without shifting to nightie.

As every women, i’m also fond of night wear all day . But becoming active mother of two kids and managing household chore made me to realise ,that nightie is not helping me to stay active and comfort in day time and nightie only best for night time only.

In this post we are going to see why nightie become so important as day wear and how wearing nightie all day may affect your overall health, beauty and lifestyle in long run.

Clothing is purely depend on individual comfort level. Here , sharing general experience on clothing for married women to stay active and happy in long run.

Why Nightie became all day wear.

Because of the loose fitting and single piece of garment , women prefer to wear nightie all the day.

Wearing nightie is more comfortable then other trational dresses.

Easy to use unlike saree, you have to spend time to drap around or to wear 2 pieces like pant , blouse, skirt and top.

Easy to wash , dry and fold.

Nightie cover everypart of body without showing off skin and you can pair with duppatta as added advantage.

Most important it will cover or hide your stomach fat and your weight without showing off.

Easy to do household chores like cooking , washing and cleaning with tie and holding cloth.

Why you need to differentiate night wear and day time wear.

Wearing night dress give more comfortable day to day life but in long run , when you look back of yourself , the most picture of your day will be nightie like you are in one full loose dress or like same dress with different color shades.

If you switch to day dress , then when you look back of your picture , you can get that period of your weight and beauty for yourself in that age in different colorful dresses.

Wearing day dress based on your comfort like kurta, salwar, lose pant with top , skirt with top, saree or half saree will make difference in your day look and differentiate your day from night time.

When you wear day time dress, you cant hide from your real weight and body feature.

You can move around your home and visit the front home or invite vistors without hesitation or go out with kids anytime.

Wearing day dress gives you extra concentration on your body look like how thin or thick you are in that dress and give you reason to comb hair, wearing matching earing etc.

Choose your day time wear for your comfort level,

Choosing day time wear is more important to stay away from night dress. While choosing your daytime /daywear keep your wish first and then the type of day and your surroundings.

If its festival day or weekend ,you can wear nice salwar which will keep you fresh all day .If its normal day , you can wear simple kurta or skirt top to go around simle walking and to chat with friends.

If you like indian traditional dress, then go with simple kurta with leggings, salwar with normal pant or leggings,palazzo pant, skirt with top.

If you like wester wear/active wear then go with gown , frock , track suits, t-shirt , active pant , rompers .

Whether it is indian dress or western wear try to go with good quality of dress instead of quantity.

You have to design your day with what best suits for you and what make you better person in and around the home.
