Easy weekend Prawn 65 Recipe

Prawn is one my favorite recipe. Cooking prawn is very easy but the cleaning process will take time. But when you want to eat your favorite food, time will not be the reason!!!!.

Yes, i used to clean the prawn the day before cooking , so it will be easy to make next day.

For Mommies with small kids,

If you have small or toddler kids then buy cleaned prawn which will save your time.

For mommies with 2 years above kids , either buy cleaned prawn or if you like the whole one prawn, then clean prawn a day before or 2 hour before your cooking.

Very simple recipe, but need your eyes and cautions while cooking. Mommies with 2 years old kids can try this recipe.

Kids will love prawn 65 , and if you are in diet then make separate pan fried prawn without oil. This deep fried prawn will increase the your weight .

Prawn 65 Preparation

Cleaned Prawn
Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder,coriander powder, pepper powder and give nice mix.
Now add corn flour and rice flour and mix everything with 1 to 2 tbsp of water and allow it to sit for 15 to 20 minute. Then Deep fry and serve hot with fried rice or as starter

Equipment

  • Frying pan, mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 25 Prawn
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 21/2- 3 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 11/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tblsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 11/2 tblsp Cornflour
  • 11/2 tblsp Rice flour
  • few Coriander leaves
  • few Curry leaves
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Clean Prawn and remove the black layer , wash 2 to 3 time with water and turmeric,
  • In wide mixing bowl, add red chilli powder, coriander powder garam masala powder ,turmeric powder , ginger garlic paste and requires salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and now add the cleaned prawn , water from the prawn will be enough to mix the powder.
  • Now add the corn flour and rice flour and give nice coating to all prawn by adding 1 or 2 tbsp of water.
  • Nicely coat each prawn with the masala and add chopped curry and coriander leaves.
  • Cover the masala coated prawn for 15 to 20 minute.
  • Deep fry the masala coated prawn in medium oil by dropping one by one.
  • It will take 3 to 5 minute to turn the color to crispy golden .
  • Transfer the prawn to paper towel and remove the excess oil.
  • Serve hot with rice or as starter
