Are you ready to scream and get scared for the year? These haunted houses across the Dallas area offer frights and fun during the Halloween season. All the haunted houses have age restrictions and they are not open on all days, plan your visit accordingly.
Made this post for people who are interested in experiencing the horror thrill during Halloween. If you are a person like me who jumps and screams by just seeing the monster costume , then stay away from this post !!
1. Dark Hour Haunted House In Plano
Covens Awakens – experience dark hour in its scariest form, the 13 coven witches together in one terrifying nightmare.

2. Six Flags Fright Fest
Location: 2201 Road to Six Flags, Arlington, TX- 76011
Date & Timing : September 16th – October 31, 2022.
Explore the Spooky Fun activities for All Ages.
Six Flags provide all you need to enjoy the October starting from Crazy Hay Maze, Kids Scream Contest, Kids Costume Contest, Monster Shoppe, Love at First Fright, Oktoberfest Food Festival.
Halloween – Cemetery of the Living Dead, Vampire Alley, Black Widow WalkwayZone 6Isla De las Munecas , Piggy’s Blood Shed, The Chamber of Torture, Arania’s Murder Mansion and Killer Theater.

3.Junkyard Haunted House – Dallas

This is a real haunted junkyard with live actors, monsters, special effects and a dark attraction.
4.Screams Halloween Theme Park – Waxachachie

Haunted house maze. The actors will make you scream and they keep providing different theme for every season.
6. Nightmare on Little Elm Street
Location: 2177 Kiowa St, Little Elm, TX – 75068.
Timing : Friday, Saturday and Sunday – October 6 to 31
Unique concept with an immersive haunted house experience . Family friendly and fun for all ages. 85 Different props and Animatronics arranged into scenes to awe and delight!.
7.Haunted Shadows Lake Trail
Address: Blue Sky Sports Center , 7801 Main, The Colony, TX -75056
Dates: September 30 – October 31st .
Walk the Haunted shadows trail which is little over a mile in length. Groups travel at various speeds but the average time fore a group to complete the trail is 40 – 45 minutes. Some are too scared to continue and ask to be escorted out!!
It is a self guided journey of over one mile through the wood and weed along the shore of lake Lewisville in the Colony.
8. Zombie Safari
