The 35 feet high, 20 feet wide Spur was created by the artist Wayland Dobbs. The Spur was placed on a concrete slab weighing 40,000 pounds. It was verified by Guinness Book Of World Records as World’s Largest Spur.

World’s Largest Killer Bee, Hidalgo

Location: 701, Ramon Ayala Dr, Hidalgo, Texas – 78557.

The first “Killer bee” colony in Texas was Discovered in Hidalgo in October 1990.

The Africanized bees are known as Killer bees which are hybrid and typically much more defensive than other varieties of honey bees. They can chase a person a quarter of a mile and have 10 times more stings than from European Honey bees.

The Statue is 2,000 Pounds located in the entrance of Hidalgo’s City Hall.

World’s Largest Working Fire Hydrant, Beaumont

Visit the World’s largest Fire Hydrant – 24 foot – tall white and black spotted which is located outside of the Fire Museum in Downtown Beaumont, Texas.

This Fire Hydrant was donated to the city of Beaumont by Walt Disney on March 9, 1999 for the re-release of the animated movie “101 Dalmatians”. Fun Fact: The shots on the hydrant are copyrighted by Walt Disney.

This Stonehenge II is 90% as wide as England’s Original and 60% as tall and also includes replicas. One of the cool places to stop and take pictures is a picnic on the river side and they do have cafes to enjoy food.

World’s Largest Gingerbread Man, Smithville

The World’s Largest Gingerbread man weighed 1,308 lbs , 8 oz and measured 20 feet from Head to toe. He is made out of 750 lbs of flour, 49 gallons of molasses, and 72 dozen eggs. By the year 2009, Smithville’s Gingerbread man got into Guinnness world Record.

In honor of being World’s Biggest Ginger bread man, the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City Of Smithville retired the cookie sheet that was used to create the giant gingerbread man and converted it into a monument that was dedicated on December 6, 2008 at the 18th annual Festival of Lights Celebration.

Paisano Pete, Fort Stockton

Visit the world’s second largest roadrunner which is standing at 11 feet tall – Paisano Pete.

Pete is one of the most recognizable roadside attractions and easy to spot as you drive through the North main street and East Dickinson Boulevard in Fort Stockton – 79735.

Visit the giant Squirrel Mrs. Pearl, who is 14 ft and Located at the Berdoll Pecan Candy & Gift Company in Cedar Creek, TX.

World’s Largest Shovel, Creedmoor

One of the hidden gems in Texas. The Guinness World Records describe this largest Garden Shovel as “World’s Largest Garden Spade” , which is 40 ft Tall and 7 ft wide.

This shovel was made by the artist and a welder named Chris Anderson by using all recycled materials.

Oatmeal Canister Water Tower, Oatmeal

OatMeal is a Community which is 8 miles from Southeast Burnet county which is the second Oldest Community and 56 miles from Austin.

Oatmeal’s water tower is painted to resemble a box of Oatmeal.

In 1978, the members of the Oatmeal community found their town not mentioned on the State Map, so they worked together to bring the attraction to their community. They made this Oatmeal Tower and Festival which was only supported by the National Oats Company.

From the Year 1978, the community of Oatmeal and nearby City of Bertram have been celebrating an Annual Oatmeal Festival during Labor Day Weekend.

Eiffel Tower, Paris
