Paneer Pops are best evening time snack for kids , this paneer pops are always hit recipe in my home. Kids love to eat crunchy outer layer with soft paneer in every bite.

For Mommies with Small Kids,

This recipe not for mommies with small kids in the age of 6 month to 11/2 year. ( mommies you need rest )

This recipe need your attention and time of 30 to 45 minute, so if you have toddler kids , it is best to start when they are engaged in any activity with friends or with craft work or someone there to take care of them !!

You have to stand in the kitchen for 30 min.

Vessels are very less in this recipe, so the cleaning part is easy.

Preplan the recipe if you active toddler around home,

If your kids are in the age of 11/2 year to 4 year, then preplan the recipe in the morning time and make the deep frying part in the evening time.

This will reduce your standing time in kitchen.

Cut Paneer, add all dry masala into bowl and prepare the bread crumbs in the morning time.

Evening just add water to make the batter and heat oil to deep fry.

If your kids need your attention more in the evening or you easily become tired during evening time.

This will reduce your standing time in kitchen into half.

For Diet Mommies/Parents

If you like paneer, then instead of deep frying paneer just add little salt , red chilli and pepper to 1/2 cup of paneer and shallow fry in another pan while you are deep frying the paneer pops.

Make it little early by 3.30 to 4 and have the yummy paneer with cup of tea along with kids paneer pops.

Best way to keep out of fried paneer pops. Shallow fry will not damage your diet as like deep fry!!

Paneer Pops with Step by Step picture

In a Plate , cut the 1 1/2 cup of paneer into cubes .

In wide mixing bowl , add 3/4 cup of rice flour, 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste,1/2 tsp red chilli paste,1/2 tsp of garam masala and salt.

Mix well the dry ingredients and add water to make batter like dosa batter consistency , the batter will coat on the paneer cubes.

In wide bowl, add the breadcrumbs, salt and red chilli powder with quick mix , keep it ready.

Now dip the paneer cubes in the batter and coat well with paneer , then immediatly place the coated paneer into breadcrumbs and again coat all the sides of panee . Make this for 5 to six paneer cubes

Heat oil in medium flame , once the oil is hot enough add the breadcrumbs coated paneer cubes into the hot oil and fry it till golden color or the outer layer turns into crispy .

Remove the paneer pops on paper towel and fry all the remaining paneer in the same way .

We had it plain paneer pops, if you like you can taste with tomato ketchup but this little cubes are taste better without chutney !!

Equipment

  • deep frying pan

Ingredients

  • 3/4 CUP Rice Flour
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli paste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 11/2 cup Paneer
  • Water , Oil and salt as needed

For Outer Layer

  • 3/4 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli to mix with bread crumbs
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Cut paneer into cubes and keep it aside
  • In wide bowl , add Bread crumbs ,red chilli powder, salt.Give quick mix and keep it aside.

Batter

  • In wide mixing bowl Rice Flour,red chilli powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, pepper,salt .
  • Mix all the ingredients well and make a thick batter by adding water little by little.
    Like batter for dosa consistency.

Deep Frying

  • Heat oil in kadai for deep frying , in meantime , dip the cubed paneer in the batter and then cat with bread crumbs.
  • Make 8 to 10 cubes and spread into plate, when oil is hot enough add the coated paneer cubes one by one and allow to fry till golden color. Repeat the same for all the remaining paneer cubes .
  • Drain the paneer cubes in tissue paper. Serve hot !! Kids will finish it before it cool down
