We are privileged to introduce the Indian based artist named Nishu Sinha, running a successful home based art studio in McKinney.
Nishu Sinha sharing about her story,
Sinha, Let’s start by Sharing your story from Childhood in India to now in the USA.
I was born in a small town in India named Dhanbad. I discovered the love for art as a young child and kept it as a side passion. As I grew up, I realized I might want to pick that as my career. First, I majored in biology but then I had a change of heart and wanted to do art because it made me happy. I have been staying in the states since 2012, and I am so grateful about how my career here has come a long way since.
What all are the struggles you went through to follow art as a passion in the USA.
It hasn’t been the easiest path to get here. Where I grew up, art wasn’t appreciated the most and my parents didn’t want me to pick that career field. I used to save up money so I could afford lessons. Later on, however, I was able to choose my path and majored in art. I was already selling and teaching on the side but got to focus more after I got my education.
I had my daughter and needed to take care of her because my husband would be at work most of the time. I had taken a break from teaching at that time, but couldn’t stay away from my passion for long so I started again a year after.
Tell about your family and in what way they are helping you to follow your Art!
I’m the mom of 2 kids . The oldest of both, my daughter who is a senior in high school, always encourages me to keep myself competitive and take my art to the next level. My family has become my supportive right hand throughout this journey and I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
What helps you to follow artwork in your low time!
Doing art is my way to escape reality. If I had the option, I would practice and learn it all day. I don’t need motivation to do art because it is the one thing I love most. What drives me to do better in my passion is the urge to improve because just like any other field, you can always ameliorate in art.
Tell us about your Teachers / Guru
My First teacher introduced me to Raja Ravi Varma, a famous painter and I was inspired by his journey and paintings. This led me to go on my own journey in the wonderful world of art.
Did you got any special education to teach students
Besides the multiple lessons I attended for art while growing up, I also went to two different universities. In 2009 I went to Collin College in Plano to learn Mural Arts and then to Pune University to get my BFA.
What value your providing to your Art students
As a home based studio, we are proud of how we are a family of our own. We can proudly say that all our customers have been happy and love our teaching style.
What sets us apart from others is that we focus on improving your skill first instead of diving right in. On the other hand, our customers love Fineoryx too because we are able to make custom paintings and adjustments to artworks and upon the buyers liking.
