Shakarosa Wild Life Ranch

Have you ever went to a zoo and spent a whole day there to see a bunch of animals sit at the back of the cage and ignore you? Well Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch is here.

If you are looking for a one day trip or half day quick trip from dallas or from North texas, Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch will be a good place to visit.

It is located on a 126 acre and a non- profit  ranch with more than 100's of animals.

Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch give a chance for North Texas residents to have a chance to meet animals up close with a Safari or a walk through!!

    You will take a close look at animals like Zebras, Camels, Horses and more through Safari Tram.

They do have Field trips for Organized groups including Private and public school and day care.

Macaw are very active birds, they interacted with there sound the time when visit.

They kept 4 to 5 animal before  the ticket counter. That's one good way to engage kids while waiting in the ticket line.

Once you  enter the  ranch, you will see animals which includes domestic  animals list ..

 Stroller facilities are there, for watching few animals , you have to climb up stairs.

Baby carriers are good option for short visit to the ranch.

Take your own lunch or food and there  is no much resturant option nearby.

We used to go one or two time to this ranch every year, Abhinav and Reya will always have the same kind of happiness and excitement.

Petting zoo,

Petting Zoo is definitely best place for any animal loving kids and parents.

The Animals in petting zoo are very curious and ntractive ,  fun and happiness for granted 

Pony rides and the ring tailed lemur cage are located near the petting zoo.

Reptile shows

We have been in the reptile show where this crocodile was small few month baby, Abhinav got chance to pet the crocodile for a second which was before covid time,

That is everlasting memory for Abhinav,

When we visited in 2020, they gave food for the alligator and  explained about the all the features of alligator, but that little man refuse to eat food , alligator just enjoyed the sunny weather with closed eyes, kids had lots of fun.

Group of Kangaroo are my favorite stop at Sharkarosa, they  mostly take rest and give nice  look at every visitor.
