We never missed a year of Christmas light, whether it is drive thru lights or neighborhood lights.

We love to watch and enjoy the decoration of lights, as Covid with winter standing in everyone’s home – drive thru Christmas lights are the only best option for kids and family to enjoy this holiday season 2021.

If you are Located in Dallas, then you have crossed about this Homeowner community for their Christmas lights which is Deerfield at Plano.

New Dancing Lights (light show ) at Deerfield :

Date : December 1- 30th from 7pm -10 pm on weekdays and 7 pm – 11pm on weekends

This Year, Deerfield arranged for dancing lights in tune with the FM: You have to check it out once you enter the street.

There is a board in every street, where you have to tune your car radio to that FM and enjoy the light dance to the music.

You can’t believe that you are in a neighborhood community!!

History :

The Deerfield lights hold its own history.

Just to bring people to the community, they made an announcement of the prize for best Christmas lights.

First Prize $5000, 2nd prize$2500 and 3rd prize $1000.

Lots of people participated in the competition and the tradition developed and followed till now for many years.

Location:

It is located at northwest plano between Preston Road and Coit Road.

There are many entrances to the deerfield community neighborhood during the weekend. Legacy entrances have the longest lines, try to enter another entrance of the Deerfield community.

Don’t park in busy streets and if you want to walk and enjoy the lights then park your car without disturbing to traffic.

Make note or take a pic of the street where you parked your car.

Dress Up warm, it is going to be cold . There are a lot of options for photos. Grab you jacket, gloves, hat and water bottle.

Plan your visit :

Since it is a neighborhood Community, you will be good if you plan ahead to visit deerfield.

Plan to visit deerfield lights on weekdays early by 6 pm , so there will not be rush and the car will be very less.

On weekends the car lines are really long like 1 hour and you have to sit inside the car .

There is no common restroom,

They have Holiday Carriage Rides, due to covid it is available only on appointment .

Christmas In the Square (Frisco)

Frisco Square are always in our favourite list for christmas lights .

They have big snow ball decoration near the frisco library where we met Mr.Grinch and Santa in past two years.

Last year, they opened ice skate near the Hall of fame and Abhinav enjoyed the ice skate though he not really ready to skate on Ice.

This year also Ice Skate is available but due to Covid we are not plan to visit any of the places by walk .

Feature Of Frisco Square Lights

Ready to enjoy the North Texas Largest Holiday Lights and Music Show are Choreographed by Frisco’s own Jeff Trykoski (Illuminax, LLC).

The Light show at Square features over 180,000 lights , 200 dancing snowflakes, 10 miles of wiring and 8 miles of extension cords.

The Newly upgraded feature 4,000 feet of roof edge LED RGB lighting and 3,000 feet of RGB color changing canopy.

All this light are free to public, you can go for drive thru around the frisco square or enjoy the lights by walk.

The holiday lights and music will run daily 6 to 10 pm, You have to tune in to 107.3 FM on the radio in your Vehicles.
