Wash dal , cabbage and chop the cabbage finely .
In pressure cooker ,add moong dal along with cabbage and turmeric powder . Pour 1/2 to 2 cups of water.
Pressure cook in medium flame for 1 whistle and allow the pressure to cool down. Moong dal must be softened and mushy .
In meantime, prepare the coconut paste, take all the ingredients in mixer jar and grind to smooth paste with added little water.
Once the pressure is released ,add the coconut paste and cook for another 5 to 7 minute.
If the moong dal and cabbage is thick add 2 to 3 tbsp of water . Dal might stick and burn if there is no enough water.
