    Vanilla cake and Frosting texture

    • Vanilla cake and vanilla frosting are the base for cake pops, so make the vanilla cake ,allow it to cool down completely.
    • You might need 2 to 3 tbsp of vanilla frosting . Make one cup of frosting and you can fridge the remaining frosting.
    • Vanilla frosting used as sticking agent for cake pops. So make sure you make fresh and thicker side of vanilla frosting and it should not be watery.
    • Texture of vanilla cake and frosting are more important. You are going to make cake balls and that has to stick with pop stick without running down or split apart.

    Making Cake Pops

    • Once your Vanilla cake and frosting are ready.
    • Crumble down the vanilla cake with spoon or with hand into small crumbs. Do the crumbling very gently, batch wise if you are using 2 cakes and don't be too hard or squish the cake.
    • Once you crumbled all the cake into small scrumbs now add one by one tbsp of vanilla frosting . If your cake is moist enough then you might need 2 tbsp of frosting to make the balls. If you not add enough frosting the cake will fall apart and if you add extra frosting the cake ball will not stand on the pop stick.
    • Spread the frosting and combine all the cake together gently with frosting to make soft moisture rich cake balls.
    • Now make the cake balls out of the cake mixture. Make big or medium size cake balls which can stand in the pop stick.
    • Place the cake pops in parchment sheet or wax paper lined baking sheet or tray.
    • You can make 25 to 40 cake balls depends on your cake size and the size of your call balls.Cove the baking sheet with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hour, so the cake balls become firm. Be don't keep in freezer it might make crack in your cake pops.
    • After 1 to 2 hours, take out one batch of cake balls like 10 to 15 once and melt the almond barks which is another important and little messy step in making cake pops.
    • Make sure, your styrofoam or florist foam or any other drying rack is ready to dry the cake pops. Once you add the almond bark ,immediately you have to keep the pops drying rack.
    • Now, Melt the almond barks in microwave safe bowl or Pyrex cup. Microwave the almond barks for 1 minute and then stir it nicely, then microwave for 30 more seconds.
    • Once you got the liquid consistency of almond bark without delay, start to coat the chilled cake pops. Insert the pop stick slowly and with help of spoon pour the almond bark around the pops.
