Paris Balloon and Music Festival – Sep 9th & 10th -2022
Have you ever been to the Texas Eiffel Tower!!. Yes, only in Texas Paris and the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Here is the chance to visit the beautiful small city at their Hot Air Balloons and Music Festival.
The Festival starts on September evening from 21st to 24/2023. The success of this festival is due to their Volunteers. Their Kid’s activities and live Paint competitions are the best parts to enjoy with family.
Plano Balloon Festival
One of the most popular balloon festivals in North Texas. For 2023, they are planning to give FOUR days full of events from the Parachute jump with 30 different shaped balloons, Balloon races, nighttime balloon glow, marathons and most spectacular fireworks.
It is a paid event with a parking fee, you have to get a ticket in advance online.

Skylight Balloon Festival – Selma -Sep 29th 30th, 2023
Enjoy the end of the year festival, to make the best weekend to remember in 2022. This hot air balloon festival includes morning balloon races, nighttime balloon glow, Skydiving and tethered balloon rides. They will have daily entertainment like family fun activities, live concerts, market day, food trucks and much more.
Great Texas Balloon Race, Longview
It’s a world-class event attracting the very best competitive pilots from across the United States and the world. In 1985, the Great Texas Balloon Race earned Longview the official designation as “The Balloon Capital of Texas”. In 2013 Gregg County was proclaimed “The Balloon Race Capital of Texas”.
Competitive balloon flights are scheduled for the mornings of Friday through Sunday over Longview. Launch and landing sites change daily as they are always determined by wind and the weather.
Every year in the month of June the competition will take place – Next year’s date: is June 17th, 2023.
Canton Balloon Fest – July 8th-9th -2023
This is a TWO-day annual event that takes place every year. The festival includes all kinds of great food and art vendors showing off their pieces. Family fun activities with a bunch of bounce houses, car shows and a very popular 5K glow run.
The stars of the show are the wonderful Balloons, and the competitions that happen each morning by the Balloon Federation of America. During the event, you can ride with tethered rides and full balloon rides (to be reserved in advance)
Fredericksburg Balloon Fest – July 2nd -Nov25th and Dec-31st-2023
This is a very small festival with 2-4 balloons on site to conduct tethered rides. The balloons are big and beautiful when inflated (if weather permits). The interesting part is that they will arrange for a helicopter ride when the balloon cannot inflate due to unsafe conditions. All Balloon rides are automatically upgraded and transferred to helicopter rides!.
This is a kids and pet-friendly event with various local food vendors and artists and hay rides.
